Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your Temple & Spark piece. Because most of what we make is built to order, please read how returns, cancellations, and refunds work below.

Custom & made-to-order builds

Desks, racks, and other pieces configured in our builders are made to your specifications. Once production begins, these items are [non-returnable / non-refundable], because they cannot be resold as standard stock.

  • You may cancel or change a made-to-order build at no charge within [X hours/days] of placing your order, before materials are cut.
  • After that window, [a deposit of X% is non-refundable / the order is non-refundable]. We will confirm your build details before production begins.
  • If your order has not yet entered production, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate changes.

In-stock & standard items

For any non-custom, in-stock items:

  • You may request a return within [X] days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging.
  • A [X]% restocking fee may apply, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
  • Refunds are issued once we receive and inspect the returned item.

Damaged or defective on arrival

Inspect your order at delivery. If a piece arrives damaged or defective:

  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt where possible, and keep all packaging.
  • Contact us within [X] days of delivery at support@templeandspark.com with your order number and photos.
  • We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you for verified shipping damage or manufacturing defects.

How to start a return or claim

Email support@templeandspark.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will reply with instructions and, where applicable, a return authorization. Please do not ship anything back before we confirm.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe.
  • Refunds are typically issued within [X] business days after we receive and approve the return; your bank may take additional time to post them.
  • Original shipping charges are [non-refundable / refundable] except where the return is due to our error.

Non-returnable items
